York Gardens & Tearoom is owned by Jimmy, a practitioner of mindful living who loves tea, gardening, cooking, classical art, classical piano, antiques and the simple, beautiful things in life. He believes life is enjoyed the greatest when lived in the present and is enriched the most through relationships. "From family to tea; it's about relationships. It has always been about relationships; with each one as unique and special as the next, he says."

Jimmy has captured the imagination of many who have visited York Gardens & Tearoom. Through this channel he shares his tearoom, it's gardens, and a simple but beautiful way of living in the present. Rather it's sharing tea with someone, cooking, or weeding the garden, Jimmy seeks to encourage others to relax, live in the present, and cherish their relationships here and now.
